Muhammadu Buhari always say that he may forgive, but do not forget, a scenario that played out last night as he order the arrest and detention of ex-NSA Boss, Dasuki Sambo.
On Sallah Eve in the year 1985, Major Sambo Dasuki (ex NSA Boss) and 3 other Majors arrested Maj Gen Muhammadu Buhari, the then Head of state and overthrew his government.
Mr Dasuki Sambo fell out President Muhammadu Buhari two weeks when he accused Buhari of being responsible for the increased activities of the Islamist terrorist, Boko Haram, as a result of his order to remove military checkpoints across the country.
President Buhari, a vindictive person was not happy with Sambo and it was one of the reason his closest aides decided that the former NSA Boss should immediately removed and place under security watch.
Last evening, another Sallah Eve, Hope For Nigeria reported that a group of Department of Security Services (DSS) operatives invaded Dasuki Sambo's residence in Asokoro area of Abuja, as another batch was surrounding his father, Ibrahim Dasuki, a former Sultan of Sokoto's house in Sokoto.
He is still being interrogated, as file in both electronic and hard copies were removed from his residence.
